OUR PASTORS

Vini & Amanda Bruno

Amanda and I are from Brazil and have been married for 16 amazing years. God has blessed us with three incredible children: Liz, Victoria, and Samuel.

Our journey together began at a Bible school in Brazil, where we were classmates. After graduating, we got married and had the incredible opportunity to serve with Diante Do Trono’s ministry, one of the most influential ministries in Brazil, under Ana Paula Valadao’s leadership  for about 10 years.  This time was formative for us, deeply shaping our passion for worship and ministry.

In 2015, we made a significant move to the USA to attend Christ for The Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. This transition was a big step, driven by our desire to grow and to follow God’s calling.

After relocating to the U.S., I have served as the worship pastor at Life Fellowship Church in McKinney, TX, for the past seven years, loving this community and helping to build a beautiful worship culture. This role has been incredibly rewarding and a great learning opportunity.

In 2024 we felt a strong call from God to embark on a new adventure— To plant a church.

After prayerfully considering several paths to fulfill the vision God has placed in our hearts, it became clear that He is calling us to plant Living Room Church in Aurora, CO. God has opened doors and connected us with wonderful people in the community, which has only strengthened our resolve and deepened our love for the people and the land.

Amanda and I are passionate about building the local church and leading people into God’s presence through worship. We love walking alongside others as we grow together as disciples of Jesus.

We believe we are called to bring hope and be an answer for the people of Aurora by establishing a church that feels like family, not an institution—a light in the darkness, offering hope and building a community where people experience love, healing, and transformation through Jesus.

Our family is excited about this new chapter and eager to build the kingdom of God in Aurora, CO.

God’s presence transforming lives

We believe God’s presence changes everything and are passionate about seeing lives continually transformed as people encounter Him.

We envision a church that feels more like home than an institution, where every person finds family and true belonging.

By naming our church Living Room, we honor the heart of the early church, creating warm, intimate spaces where people can gather to encounter God, be transformed, love one another, and grow as disciples who make disciples.

OUR BELIEFS

Ativo 51@400x

The Bible is the Inspired Word of God

The Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God, the only written revelation from God to man. The Bible is infallible and the authoritative rule of faith and conduct for mankind (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13 & 2 Peter 1:21).

The Fall of Man

Man was created in the image of God (Genesis 2:26). By a voluntary act of the will, Adam and Eve disobeyed God (Genesis 3:6). This first sin brought separation from God and left humanity in a fallen condition (Romans 3:23).

There is One True God

God is one, yet revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19). He is the creator of the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1-2), and is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent.

The Church and Its Mission

The Church is the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-27) with the purpose to evangelize the world (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15-16), worship God (1 Corinthians 12:13), and equip believers for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Cor. 12:28, 14:12).

The Holy Spirit

The fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) are evidence of a Spirit-filled life. The gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:1-11) build up the body and should be exercised in love (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).

The Final Judgment

There will be a final judgment where the dead will be resurrected and judged (Matthew 25:31-46, Romans 2:1-9). Those not found in the Book of Life will face eternal punishment (Revelation 20:11-15), while those in the Book of Life will be rewarded (1 Corinthians 4:5).

The Salvation of Humanity

The only means of salvation is through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). He died for our sins (1 Peter 2:24) and offers us forgiveness (Hebrews 9:26). When we place our faith in Christ, we become the Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19) and our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 3:5). We are adopted as children of God (Galatians 4:4-7) and receive eternal life (John 3:16).

The evidence of salvation is two-fold: the internal witness of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:16) and the external fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We are transformed into the image of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18) and become a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

THE WAY WE GATHER

Living Room Communities

More than just a few hours on Sunday, church is about sharing life together.

Our Living Room Communities create a space for us to gather during the week, grow together, and make disciples of Jesus. We envision a church that gathers around tables, in living rooms, coffee shops, and other welcoming spaces, making a meaningful difference in our community.

Sunday Gathering

Our Sunday gatherings are a time for us to come together to worship, learn from Scripture, and pray for one another. We cultivate an atmosphere that honors God’s presence above our programs. These gatherings are designed to foster deep, meaningful connections with God and with each other.
